Sorry i took so long to get back to you. Hmm... the most thrilling thing about sculpting? Well if you mean what gets my adrenaline going, then gravity- gravity scares me senseless... and the wind. Worrying about things cracking, falling over and smashing and stuff... I'm always on edge about that.

In terms of joy, I love opening up a kiln to see what the results of a test tile firing or glazed piece. Glazes- however hard I try to understand, always surprise me in one way or another. And they're always good surprizes even if it is a total failure it somehow works or is appropriate.

I am a graphic Design student myself. So I experiment in all fields. I was thinking of taking a couple sculpting classes, +metal and ceramics. What do you find most thrilling in sculpting?

Did you ever hear about how they went back some fifteen years (or so) later, and they didn't recognize her because of all she'd been through? She looked like an old woman.. It's really depressing what happens to women in countries where they don't have rights.
